At 1mm thick the disc cuts with far less effort and heat than a standard 3mm, leaving minimal burring and reducing the finishing work afterwards. The PROFLEX formulation contains no iron, sulphur or chloride, which is what makes it safe on stainless steel — contamination from a standard disc is what causes stainless to rust after cutting.
