The Knipex 74 01 range of High leverage diagonal pliers have high leverage with fixed forged-on articulated axle for heavy-duty applications so requiring 20% less effort for cutting improving performance and reducing fatigue on all work applications.
The 74 01 series are ideal for soft or hard wire including piano wire ranging from 2.0mm up to 3.00mm across the range sizes. The strong durable edges make an easy and clean cut with long lasting results even under the toughest conditions. Like most the Knipex range of nippers and cutters the 74 01 range are oil hardened and tempered for longer life with cutting edges separately induction-hardened to approx. 64hrc.
