The Mercedes cap, without the collateral damage. The Sealey VS7113 is a cap-type oil filter wrench sized Ø74.5mm with 14 flutes, dropping over the housing cap and engaging the flutes moulded into it — rather than clamping the outside and cracking a cap that costs more than the filter did.

It is aluminium alloy rather than steel for exactly that reason, and at 0.13kg it is the lightest wrench in Sealey's cap range. The crowned top adds leverage points for a cap that has been torqued down hard or baked in place, and the 3/8" square drive works with any standard ratchet.
